  • Welcome John Bliss - New FMS Principal
    Please welcome John Bliss as Folsom Middle School's new Principal.
    John as been a member of FCUSD for 16 years.
    He spent his first ten years in the district as a Biology and Chemistry teacher at Cordova High School.
    For the past 6 years he served as a Vice Principal at Folsom High School. 
    As a dedicated and hard working VP he helped to launch and implement the successful Global Programs Studies (GPS) program.

    Friday, August 8th!!
    Scheduled Pick Up Times
    8th graders: 8:00-11:00 a.m.
    Lunch: 11:00 -12:00 (doors closed)
    7th Graders: 12:00-2:30 p.m.
    Break: 2:30-3:00 p.m. (doors closed)
    6th Graders: 3:00 - 5:30 p.m.
    6th Grade Rally: 5:30-6:15 p.m. Meet in outdoor quad with Homeroom class.
    6th Grade Parent Meeting: 5:30-6:15 p.m. - Meet in the gym
    Tours will be provided throughout the day; students are allowed to walk their schedules. Campus will be open.
    Items that are available for pick up include: schedule, PE uniforms, Jagenda (student planner), and textbooks (from the library).
    If you're unavailable to come by this day, the office will be open on Monday, August 11 and Tuesday August 12 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. to pick up your items.
    You and your student may only pick up their schedule if the following forms have been completed and signed by a parent/guardian:
      * Student Information/Emergency Card
      * Signature Page
      * Confidential Health Information
    Our information tables will have other forms if needed: Permission forms for administering over the counter/prescription medication, permission forms for school dances, volunteer information, transportation application, free and reduced lunch forms, pesticide notification request, Lifetouch photo information packet, and yearbook order forms (online orders).

  • Congratulations to our FMS Spelling Bee Winner 
    6th grader Snehaa K. won our school-wide spelling bee contest. She place 2nd in the regional spelling bee on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Great job Snehaa!

    Printed copies are available upon request. Digital copies are available for view on the district website under OUR DISTRICT/School Accountability Report Card (SARC) and our school website under the Our School/SARC.

    With the passage of AB 484 in October, California has begun a major change in how we measure our students’ academic progress.
